Dr. Michael McCarthy and Dr. Stephanie Nesbitt have been studying how greatly COVID-19 has impacted vulnerable populations.
Through analyzing non-medical socio-economic data across the United States, Dr. McCarthy and his team have gained early insights into the how, why and what leaders can do to better invest into communities they serve.
And they’re not stopping there. Utica’s Institute for the Study of Integrative Health is hosting a hybrid conference on the Burrstone Road campus (with on-line options) on September 10, 2022 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
During the event Dr. Patrice Hallock of Utica University, and Brian Urban of Dartmouth College Institute for Health Policy, will host a live Healthcare Leadership Panelist discussion with regional leaders, including John Milligan (CEO of Upstate Family Health Center), Anne Gadmoski (Director of Bassett Research Institute), Heidi Bond (Public Health Official with Otsego County), Jeff Becker (Vice President of Marketing and Data at FinThrive) and Anthony Picente (Oneida County Executive).
The research is supported by AcademyHealth and through a grant from the prestigious Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
It’s just one of the numerous presentations and research to be highlighted at this year’s Integrative Healthcare Conference at Utica University.
